Ruwacon is a top-tier South African construction firm. Founded in 1999 by the current managing director, Pieter Ruthven, the company boasts over 24 years of success in the industry. Since May 2010, Ruwacon has become one of the few top-tier construction firms in South Africa with a majority black ownership. The company currently has a 9GB and 9CE CIDB rating, is ISO 9001 certified and proudly holds a Level 1 B-BBEE Status. 

A rich history of achievements is testimony to the proficiency that has always been part of Ruwacon’s management at the various levels of the organisation. Ruwacon’s management team has irrefutably committed themselves to practising the corporate governance principles of integrity, respect and transparency. These ethos form the basis for managing all operations, systems and structures, as well as organisational culture.

The group consists of various divisions, namely: Construction, Infrastructure, Plant Hire, and Scaffolding. This diverse structure grants Ruwacon the advantage of seamlessly operating across various sectors within the construction industry. Ruwacon’s teams operate in some of the most remote areas across South Africa to create, build and ensure quality for the future. Ruwacon is involved in a multitude of projects and targets an annual turnover exceeding R1 billion.
