St Patricks Hospital is situated between Port Edward and Port St John’s in the old Transkei. The project commenced on the 28th of April 2009 and was completed on the 4th of May 2011. The project involved the construction of a 64 bedroom accommodation block for nurses as well as the construction of nine self-catering units. In addition, the client instructed Ruwacon to build eight new family units, revamp the existing TB ward to serve as administration offices and refurbish the existing midwives’ quarters. The project was completed on schedule and the client commended Ruwacon for the high quality of work done on this project.
